2008 MONTHLY TRAINING CLINIC CHANGES AND ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM

Welcome to the Keystone Chapter of NAVHDA. As part of our training clinic improvement program

starting in 2008, all handlers/trainers will be required to fill out this form by the TUESDAY BEFORE each

of the scheduled training clinics. Failure to do so may result in limiting your time in the field and/or

water to accommodate those who have signed up.

The objective of this program is to maximize productive time and eliminate down time during the

weekends by effectively managing the resources, trainers, helpers, equipment, and land use.

In addition to this form we have decided to assign an experienced member(s) of the chapter for each

training clinic to lead a short training session specific to a topic that he or she wishes to teach.

Participation in this training session is not mandatory, but of you wish to participate, please check the

box below.

All organized training clinics start at 8AM on Saturday. We strongly encourage that you get there a little

early to give your dogs a chance to get out of the vehicles and to get yourself organized. The Sunday

training clinic will be conducted as it has been in the past, meaning that you sign up for the fields and

water at the trailer on a first come first serve basis. Regardless, members are encouraged to help out

new members.

Please follow all of these rules to ensure that we have safe and enjoyable weekend:

Blaze orange is required (hats and vest)

All equipment must be signed out and returned to the trailer

The clubs blanks are for testing only, we will have blanks available for sale at cost- $15.00/Box

Dispose of your dead birds (Remember to remove bands) and trash properly

Keep your dogs on a leash or in a kennel when not training

Only approved gunners are permitted to shoot live rounds

All ducks and pheasants must be banded, we will have tags available for sale

Follow all PA Game Commission Rules and Regulations

Pay a $5.00 training fee, or pre-pay for the entire year

Be a Keystone Member, partnering club member, and an International Member of NAVHDA

The following members have generously agreed to get ducks when needed. You must let them know by

the TUESDAY BEFORE the scheduled clinic. Abuse of their time and money may result in a loss of their
